Adrenaline Coach Adam Rothweiler Improves Pro Muay Thai Record to 3-0
We have always known, from the day he walked in our doors a few years ago, that Coach Adam Rothweiler would do great things. Adam started his Pro MMA career early in his training. He managed to redeem a winning record in his MMA career despite having to take fights against seasoned, heavier opponents.
Coach Adam decided to change things up this year and concentrate his efforts into Professional Muay Thai. It was a risky move, but he knew he could succeed as a stand-up fighter.
Adam was put to the test very quickly by facing an experienced Muay Thai Kru (teacher) named Adrian Murillo. Murillo had a lot of Muay Thai fights and trains with a formidable team. This did not deter Adam from accomplishing his goal of impressing everyone. Adam dominated in his first fight with crisp combinations and exciting flying knees. Adam won a unanimous decision which left no doubt in anyone's mind that Adam was here to fight and here to stay.
Adam's second fight was again, against a tough opponent with a long amateur career, named Jesse Magussen. Jesse is also an instructor from another good school. Adam decided before that fight that he was going to lay it all on the line and go for the knockout. Adam accomplished his goal by quickly disposing of Jesse in the first round with an impressive head-kick knockout.
Adam was well on his way. Then they let him know that things got even tougher as he was to face an even tougher opponent than the two previous. His next fight was slated to be against Levon Sarksyan. This new challenge, Levon, is the current Armenian champion and was also named the best pound-for-pound kickboxer in the entire country of Armenia. Adam had his work cut out for him. Adam came out swinging in the first round but Levon was a hardhitting, fast, technical fighter.
Adam, despite the odds, came back in the next 3 rounds to punish Levon with bruising leg kicks and sharp hand combinations that ended up destroying Levon to the point that he could not continue. Adam got his second KO with the TKO finish. Adam sits at 3-0 with 2 KO's and awaits his next opponent set for November. Stay tuned to our website and facebook page to find out the details.

calories throughout the day if you can get a good walk or bike ride in
when you wake up.
The concept of L.I.S.S. has been hanging around
for a little while. What does L.I.S.S. stand for? Low Intensity Steady
State. This is the concept of getting your heart rate up to 55%-65% of
its target heart rate for 30 minutes. Find your target heart rate by:
taking 220 and subtract your age from it.
With L.I.S.S., since
it's low intensity, you want to exercise for at least 30 minutes at
55%-65% of your target heart rate. Example: 20 year old person would
have a target heart rate of 200, 55%-65% of this would be a range of
110-130 beats per minute. So, you would want to walk or ride at a pace
that would keep your heart rate at 110-130 beats per minute.
kickstarts your metabolism for the day and allows your body to start
burning calories. East 5-7 sensible meals spaced out approximately every
2 1/2 hours during the day of between 400-600 calories each. This will
keep your body burning fat!
